Too Lost Music Group announced an agreement on October 20, 2026 to acquire Australian independent distributor Xelon Entertainment. The transaction remains subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, with closing expected by the end of 2026—not already completed.

What does Too Lost plan to acquire?

Xelon, established by Ashley Gay in 2007, operates in Australia and internationally, with an established focus on electronic and dance music. The company says it has distributed more than one million recordings. Gay is expected to continue as president and join Too Lost’s leadership team following the transaction.

Why the deal matters to independent labels

The acquisition would follow Too Lost’s purchase of Australia’s GYRO.Group, potentially combining technology, local label services and international reach. For indie artists, the important questions are continuity of existing delivery agreements, data access, royalty reporting and support during any migration. None of those operational changes should be assumed without direct notification from the companies.

What remains unknown?

The financial terms have not been disclosed. Expected closing is not legal completion. No projected artist royalties or streaming growth can be quantified from the announcement.
